![]() I needed to go to the Woodcraft store today. So my daughter, being totally bored, came along. I got the lacquer I needed while she looked at wood. What? The kid is looking at wood? Picking up an expensive Australian burl piece she states she wants a box made from it. I say "you buy it, I'll make it." Of course there's the whole, "I got no money" whine. So, OF COURSE, it's added to MY stack at the counter. The guy checking us out...oh wait...checking HER out, while ringing up the sale, suggested that SHE make the box. Good Lord, my prayers have been answered. There ya go (I'm fantasizing), the kid, in the shop, turning her own little fancy wood box. The guy checking us, er, I mean her out, proceeds to tell us how girls with power tools are cool. Oh yeah, baby, now we're talkin'. And, she drives a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, standard shift, named Willie. THAT added a whole new level of coolness. She agreed to try making the box, if I would agree to stop using the word "ballin". Yep, girls with power tools are cool, especially if you look like the one in the pic :)

It's a cute story whether you know this pretty young lady or not.
