I used a Kansas domed quarter coin for this handmade necklace. The U.S State quarter dollar coin is dated 2005. The coin represents the state of Kansas and features an image of a buffalo and sunflowers for 'The Sunflower State'. The coin is suspended from a stainless steel ball cable chain.

I used a Kansas domed quarter coin to handcraft this necklace. The U.S State quarter dollar coin is dated 2005. The coin represents the state of Kansas and features an image of a buffalo and sunflowers for 'The Sunflower State'. I oxidized the metal without using any chemicals leaving it a darkened color.
After I drilled the coin, I domed, cleaned, oxidized, and polished it and attached a sturdy ring. The polished, circulated coin has a smooth darkened luster that allows the images to be seen more clearly. This is truly a unique piece of coin jewelry. The quarter coin has a diameter of 15/16 inch (24mm) and hangs from a 30 inch (76.2cm) stainless steel ball chain secured by a connector.
The chain can be shortened upon request.
