This handmade domed coin necklace was made from an authentic U.S quarter dollar coin. These quarters were minted as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program. This U.S. commemorative quarter coin, dated 2015, depicts the Blue Ridge Parkway. The coin is suspended from a stainless steel ball chain.

This handcrafted coin necklace was made from an authentic U.S quarter dollar coin. These quarters were minted as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program. This U.S. commemorative quarter coin, dated 2015, depicts the Blue Ridge Parkway curving into one of the many tunnels along the way. The Dogwood, the North Carolina state flower, is in the foreground.
After I drilled the coin, I cleaned, and polished the copper-nickel quarter. Notice that the coin has been domed to add interest. The coin’s diameter is 15/16 inch (24mm) and it hangs from a 30 inch (76.2cm) stainless steel ball chain.
The chain can be shortened upon request.
