This handmade state quarter key ring was made from an authentic Arizona U.S. state quarter dollar coin. It is dated 2008. Arizona's quarter depicts a Saguaro cactus in front of an image of the Grand Canyon. The coin hangs from a sturdy metal key ring.

This handmade state quarter key ring was made from an authentic Arizona U.S. state quarter dollar coin. It is dated 2008. Arizona's quarter depicts a Saguaro cactus in front of an image of the Grand Canyon. Separating the two images is a banner reading "Grand Canyon State" to signify that the Saguaro cactus does not grow in the canyon. Visible are the inscriptions "Arizona" and "1912."

After I drilled the coin, I cleaned and polished the quarter. The circulated, quarter is 15/16 inch (24mm) in diameter and in excellent condition. It is attached by two sturdy metal rings from a 1 inch (26mm) diameter metal key ring It hangs 1 1/4 inches (32mm) from a metal key ring. The total length is 2 inches (51mm).
